The Daily Focus provides detailed investment recommendations into China and Hong Kong industries and companies. The latter two publications focus on macroeconomic performance and stock selection strategy, thereby giving customers a sense of investment direction.

Graduated from Shanghai University and majored in financial accounting, is the CFA charter holder. With over 14 years' experience in equity research, she is now the head of Research for SinoPac Securities (Asia) Ltd. Before that, she worked for Core Pacific-Yamaichi, Southwest, OCBC, NatWest and BZW Securities.
She specializes in HK/China investment strategy. Moreover, she also holds extensive experience on fundamental research for industries such as consumer goods and services, transportation and utilities sector. As the key member of the team that was voted the sixth best China research team by the Asiamoney brokers’ survey in 1997, she was also voted by Asiamoney as one of the best China consumer analysts during the year. In 2005, she was again voted by Asiamoney as one of the best China utilities analyst. In 2008, she was by Financial Times/StarMine as the best transportation analyst in Asia.
Graduated at University of Maryland at Collage Park with B.S. in General Business and Computer Science in 2002, Graduated at Johns Hopkins University with Master Degree in Computer Science in 2004. Joined KGI Securities in 2004 and was in charge of transportation sector in China, and was honored to be on the best transportation analyst list by AsiaMoney in 2006. Joined SinoPac Securities in 2006, covering transportation sector in China, was ranked No.1 in best bullish analyst call in the world for 2007 by Bloomberg. Currently covering sectors include Transportation Infrastructure, Shipping, Shipbuilding, and Airlines.
Graduated from Zhejiang University in 1999, BA degree;Master degree of Finance from Macquarie University, Australia, in 2003;Joined KGI Securities in 2004 and became analyst since 2005, focusing on domestic consumption sector and nominated as one of the best consumer analyst by Asia Money in 2006;Joined Sinopac till now by the end of 2006, still focusing on domestic retail and consumption. Current main focus includes retail, sportswear, brewery, jewelry and hotel.
Graduated from Fudan University as a Master of Economics in 2006. He joined Evalueserve as an analyst of consumer sector in 2006. He joined SinoPac Securities as a securities analyst in late 2007. He covers the sectors of basic materials and metals.
Graduated from Shanghai University of Economics and Finance in 2004 with master degree in Finance. Before joining SinoPac Securities in 2008, he worked for several local financial firms, gathered rich financial experiences and had extensive research exposure on dozens of Chinese companies listed in US and HK markets. He joined a local consulting firm---Hezhong consulting in 2004 as an IT industry analyst, offering industry reports to clients like Epson and etc. Then he joined BVIFs Investment as an analyst on currency markets and US equity markets. In later 2005, he joined Chinafundlp, a hedge fund operating in Shanghai, as a buy-side analyst covering mainland companies listed in US and HK markets, as well as some US domestic blue chip companies. During his work at Chinafundlp, He recommended dozens of companies which more than doubled their share price later, an undisputable good stock-picker. In 2008, he joined SinoPac Securities, covering mainland banks listed in HK markets.
Vivien has three years of experience in equity research, covering China stocks in the auto and auto-parts, wind-power and food-processing industries. She was previously with Sun Hung Kai Financial's Hong Kong-based research team, and before that worked in financial planning with Bank of China (Hong Kong). Vivien has been with SinoPac Securities (Asia) since 2008. She holds a BBA degree, double major in Marketing and MIS, from Dallas Baptist University, U.S., graduating with Honors Cum Laude.
