SinoPac Securities (Asia)- Account Opening Process
SinoPac Securities (Asia) is a market participator in the Hong Kong Stock Exchange; hence all stocks, warrants, FX funds cheques, derivatives and government bond listed on the HKSE could be traded. (Please note: on-line trading service is only available to customers of individual cash account.) Regarding the process of account opening, please refer to the following:
 
Please read the following terms regarding the stock trading account and retain this document for record.
Complete the account opening form.

Please prepare a certified copies of the following documents

 
Individual/ Joint Account:

All IDs and passports held by the account owner, and

Proof of address within 3-month (ex: utility bills or credit card statements)
Corporate Account:

The registration certificate of the company owned by the customer and business registration certificate (or other valid proof of registration), outline of organisation and details

The company’s audited accounting reports for the past two years, and the balance sheet dated less then two months before the account opening date, [or other financial reports approved by SinoPac Securities (Asia)]

Records of Board Meeting’s approval on new account opening and signed the account opening forms

 
Certified copies of board members and appointed signer’s IDs or passports ( at least two Directors including Board of Directors)
Board members and appointed signer’s proofs of address ( at least two stockholders including Board of Directors)
Certified copies of stockholders with 10% holdings or ultimate beneficiary’s IDs or passports ( not applicable for public listed companies)
Certified copies of stockholders with 10% holdings or ultimate beneficiary’s s proofs of address ( not applicable for public listed companies)
Certified copies of shareholders’ name list and shareholders’ information (individual); and
(For companies registered outside of Hong Kong), Registered Agent's Certificate, Certificate of Good Standing, or Self Declaration Form are required.
Other documents/information requested by SinoPac Securities (Asia) under reasonable circumstances
 
Account opening documents and proofs for notarised:
 
Write a cheque to SinoPac Securities (Asia) Limited, amounted HK$10,000 (remark 1), and sign the cheque (the signature must be identical to those signed on account opening forms)

The account opening documents and other certified documents must be signed and witnessed before a personnel registered at HK (For example: bank branch manager, certified public accountant, lawyer, or notary public.) or

The account opening documents and other certified documents must be signed and witnessed before an employee of SinoPac Securities (Asia)

Once we receive your signed and complete account opening forms, we will start processing the application (remark 2). Once your application is approved, we will be assigned a user code.
Once you apply for on-line trading service, we will send out a letter comprising your log-on password. In order for you to activate your account, please immediately change the password via our internet platform. Please keep you password confidential (remark 3) to protect you from fraud.


Remark 1:
The account will be validated after related cheques are cashed, whilst the signatures on the cheques are identical to those signatures signed on the above mentioned account opening documents.
Remark 2:
Usually, it takes 3 working days (HK time) to open a new account. Your must have enough funds or stock in your account to make a transaction.
Remark 3:
If you forgot your password, please contact customer service centre (852)2523-6685, after individual information verification, we will re-set new password. Please note that we advice to change your password immediately after receiving new password for security reasons.

 

How to request account opening forms to open an account?
Please call customer service hotline (852)2586 8318 for information and forms
To contact us via written correspondent or email, after we receive your request, we will mail a account opening pack to you in three working days (HK time).
